Upload Photos to Facebook with ‘Starry Hope Uploader’ in Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat

Ubuntu Maverick ImageStarry Hope Uploader is a simple Facebook photo uploader that runs in Ubuntu. Its main goal is to help you upload images to your Facebook account from Ubuntu quickly and easily. In this short tutorial, I will show you how to install and use Starry Hope Uploader in Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat.

Getting started:

To get started, go to Applications –> Ubuntu Software Center.

Next select ‘Edit –> Software Sources’

Then, select ‘Other Software’ tab and click ‘Add’. Next, type the line below into the box and click ‘Add Source’

Back into Software Center, search for and install ‘Starry Hope’

After installing, go to Applications –> Internet –> Starry Hope Uploader.

Then click ‘Connect to Facebook’ to establish connection with Facebook.

Type your login information for Facebook.

When prompted, you must click ‘Allow’

After connection is established, begin adding photos by dragging them into the space provided. When done, click ‘Upload Photos’
